Job Title: Driver, Warehouse, and Facilities Assistant

Job Description

Apostle is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver, Warehouse, and Facilities Assistant. This is a crucial multi-faceted role that will support our daily operations across logistics, inventory management, and general facility upkeep. The successful candidate will be an important contributor to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our biotech environment.

Required Qualifications

      High School Diploma or equivalent.

      Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

      Ability to lift and move packages and materials, potentially up to 50 lbs.

      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

      Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

      Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and equipment.

      Prior experience in a driving, warehouse, or facilities role is preferred.

      Understanding of safety procedures related to handling materials and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

      Driving & Logistics: Manage shipments (FedEx/local deliveries) and maintain the company vehicle.

      Warehouse Management: Organize stock, handle incoming/outgoing materials, and execute packaging.

      Facilities & General Upkeep: Perform groundskeeping, comprehensive cleaning (restrooms, labs, rooms), waste management, HVAC maintenance, and janitorial supplies management.

Compensation and Benefits

Job Description

Apostle is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operational Specialist. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing a wide range of operational activities, including documentation work, purchasing, warehouse control, logistics, order receiving, and building management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our daily business operations.

Required Qualifications

      Proven experience in operations, logistics, purchasing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

      Purchasing: Manage office and lab supply procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier evaluation. Develop and implement purchasing workflows.

      Warehouse Control: Organize consumable products and marketing materials, manage inventory checks, and contribute to building a robust warehouse control system.

      Logistics: Coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage shipping and packaging supplies, handle international shipping documentation and agency communication, and evaluate carriers. Develop and implement shipping workflows.

      Order Receiving: Process and acknowledge orders, generate internal sales orders, prepare shipping documents, and contribute to building an efficient order receiving system.

      Building Management: Oversee infrastructure maintenance (HVAC, water heater, eyewash, shower, etc.), manage pest control, conduct safety inspections, coordinate with contractors, and organize routine cleaning and storage. Manage janitorial supplies.

Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

The Lab Assistant will perform molecular biology and chemistry lab work by following standard operating procedure (SOP) and quality assurance/quality Control (QA/QC) system under general and technical supervision. The successful candidate will become an important team member for material chemistry, RT-PCR, NGS and other molecular manufacturing and testing services.

Required Qualifications

·      A bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, or related field is preferred but not required.

·      No work experience is required. Experience of working in a molecular biology lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

·      Perform DNA extraction from various specimen types.

·      Perform manufacturing of nucleic acid processing products.

·      Perform complex procedures include qPCR, RT-PCR and NGS library prep for QC and product development tests.

·      Assist in operation activities, including document control, chemical/packaging material handling, inventory control, and logistics coordinating. 

·      Validates test results through correlation with test parameters and QC metrics.

·      Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on instruments and equipment.
